  and made the place into a terrific music venue with licensed bar.\nHo
 sting mainly jazz so far this is the first venture into the Blues, kic
 ked off on Thursday 28th January at 8.00pm by the Low Down Dogs and fr
 iends.\nA discerning band of musicians, the Low Down Dogs have conside
 rable pedigree in the Blues and feature the sublime vocals, slide guit
 ar and harmonica work of 'Mad Dog' Dave Barnes along with John Crowthe
 r's vocals, and top drawer guitar and mandolin skills. The rhythm sect
 ion sees Dave Thomas on bass, guitar and vocals and, Pete Abernethy on
  drums, other percussion and backing vocals. Expect a lively and enter
 taining evening of Blues ranging from the Mississippi Delta to the New
