 arine Perry (07947 321182)\nMeet at Bowes Park station in time to catc
 h the 10.09 to Harringay station (6 minutes) – allow time to buy tic
 kets.\nAs well as actually going along the New River, the Path takes i
 n Finsbury Park, the East and West Reservoirs in Hackney and Clissold 
 Park (the café is open again so we can stop for a cuppa) before large
 ly going underground through scenic parts of Highbury and Canonbury to
  Islington and Clerkenwell. It ends at the New River head, a site of n
 ational historic importance which has supplied water to London for 399
  years. We can continue a little further to Exmouth Market for a bite 
 to eat if wished.\nThe walk is approximately 4 miles in length. Return
  by walking to Kings Cross (c 20 minutes) and taking the tube.\n\nFor
