  a London-based painter interested in beauty and constructs of beauty.
   Wen has spent many years obsessing over the feminine ideal, drawing
  much inspiration from the classical western oil paintings which she h
 ad access to growing up in China.Wen's artworks are influenced by the 
 work of 17th Century Baroque artists;especially Velasquez, Caravaggio 
 and the Caravaggio School.  Wen draws many references from these clas
 sical oil painting.Wen Wu's portrait Venus as a Boy is currently on sh
 ow at the National Portrait Gallery's BP Portrait Award 2011 exhibitio
 n.Wen also commits herself to charity work promoting Chinese arts and
