DESCRIPTION:The final of the annual Church Times Cricket Cup takes pla
 ce at the Walker Cricket Ground on Thursday 3rd September between 11am
  and 4pm. Christ Church Southgate will be open all day serving tea and
  cakes and selling books, home-made jams  and crafts.  Come in and ex
 plore our wonderful building designed by George Gilbert Scott and our 
 beautiful collection of pre-raphaelite windows by William Morris & Com
 pany.  In 2015 we celebrate our 400th Anniversary - the Weld Chapel, t
 he precursor to our current building, was consecrated in May 1615. Con
 tact the Parish Office to join our mailing list to keep up to date wit
 h future events marking this special anniversary of Southgate’s Pari
