 24th January, 7.30pm\nPeter will be sharing images of the sometimes vi
 sionary, sometimes just plain bizarre ideas that architects, planners 
 and others have had to “improve” the city over the years. A square
  Piccadilly Circus, a tideless Thames, monorails and urban airports, n
 ew bridges, grand vistas and a rather morbid pyramid are just some of 
 the schemes that never quite got off the ground.\nThere will be the op
 portunity to ask questions and to look at some original plans. You can
  also enjoy a drink, meal or snack before, during or after the talk �
 � there will be an interval and we’ll be offering a special Discover
  London deal!\nThe price for each talk is £7 or £5 for concessions.
