SUMMARY:Early Spring Tree Walk
DESCRIPTION:Friends of Alexandra Park presents....\nLeaves are coming 
 out, flowers are coming out, but some trees will still be in hibernati
 on. We will take a stroll and inspect the arrival of Spring. Elm flowe
 rs are some of the first to emerge and they may even be finished by th
 e time the walk starts.\n\n \nWe plan to start the walk with a look a
 t the trees just below the South Terrace (certainly flowers to be seen
 !) before heading towards the Eastern Arboretum - the area around the 
 Rose Garden and we will take a look at some of the new trees planted b
 y the Go-Ape constructions.\n \nDepending on time, we may dip into th
 e Blandford Area and we plan to finish by the Lakeside Cafe.\n \nIf y
 ou want to look up some of the trees in advance (do some homework). So
 me of the slight less known trees that we will look at will be Bird Ch
 erry, Yellow Buckeye, Wych Elm, Weeping Ash and Red Oak.\n \nWe will 
 be leaving the paths, so please come suitably shod.\n \nMeet at the B
