DESCRIPTION:Capital Connect is a new solo exhibition of limited editio
 n linoprints by local artist Katie Heyes. The exhibition is a series o
 f prints depicting the train stations along the Hertford North line to
  central London.\nKatie is inspired by the architecture of these Victo
 rian stations – their picket fences, gabled roofs and picturesque ti
 cket offices that can so easily be missed amidst the clamour of the da
 ily commute. Each station is evocative of a time when train travel was
  glamorous and Katie’s work celebrates this past romance of the rail
 way.\n“My work explores the journey I take every morning from Enfiel
 d Chase to Finsbury Park. It is a route which has become my physical a
 nd symbolic link to the Capital since I moved out of central London. �
