DESCRIPTION:\nGrass Roots is a monthly event which is fully committed 
 to supporting emerging UK-based jazz talent. While our home in Peckham
  is currently moving to a new location, we're taking the show on the r
 oad and popping up at Karamel.\nFor the month of August, we proudly pr
 esent a young saxophonist, bassist and bandleader called William Wood.
  While hailing from Sevenoaks in Kent, William was raised in various c
 orners of the world. Having completed his musical education in Michiga
 n, he returned to these shores to become a bonafide member of London's
  burgeoning jazz community.\nBesides his own projects, William current
 ly forms part of the LUKAS-award winning Roberto Pla Latin ensemble. O
 n the night, he will bring together an assortment of highly skilled fr
 iends to share a diverse range of artistic influences. Prepare to be d
 azzled, delighted and downright enchanted by this relatively new name
