DESCRIPTION:At Collage Arts we think that the people of Haringey and b
 eyond should have free access to great literary events all year long. 
 So, rather than putting all our energy into a two week festival once a
  year, where people may be able to attend only a few events, we have d
 ecided to programme our events month by month.\n\nWe are putting on a 
 series of free evening readings at the wonderful Karamel café. Come a
 long and hear highly entertaining writers reading their work. Browse a
  selection of poetry and fiction, courtesy of the Big Green Bookshop. 
 Join in our open mic session by reading a poem or micro-story of your 
 own.\nThe Haringey Literature Festival celebrates books, reading and w
 riting all year long. We hope you will join us!\nOUR UPCOMING PROGRAMM
 E\nNovember 2013 – STOP PRESS: Haringey Literature Festival Writing
  Competition! Come along to the Open Studios 8, 9, 10 November be insp
 ired! Write a poem or microstory of up to 200 words and send it in by 
 the end of November to Kate Pemberton, kate@collage-arts.org\nWe will 
 judge the work in three categories – under 11s, under 18s and over 1
 8s. State which category you are in, and include your name and email a
 ddress. We will announce the results at our December reading and also 
 online.\nPrize is your work on our website and drink and cake for 2 at
  Karamel.\n \nWATCH THIS SPACE Next year HLF plans further exciting l
 iterary ventures at Karamel, including a range of daytime writing wor
 kshops, after school writing clubs, some evening literary talks and i
 nterviews, and more readings from HLF poets and short story writers.\n
