SUMMARY:Haringey Tree Wardens Street Tree Walk - Fortis Green
DESCRIPTION:We hold tree-related events nearly every month in differen
 t parts of Haringey. Our street tree walks take place on the 1st Sunda
 y of every other month at 3pm. \nThis is a free opportunity to discove
 r more about local street trees. We walk along a suitable street, exch
 anging knowledge. Some of us do maintenance if needed. Most come to lo
 ok and learn.\n\nFor the February Walk, we're meeting at the corner o
 f Marriott and Coppetts roads. The walk lasts around an hour and you c
 an join/leave at any time - all welcome.\n\nPlease meet us at 3pm on S

 book page) to let us know you're going.\n\nComplete beginners are welc
 ome - several of us know very little, some of us know quite a bit and 
 we're all keen to learn.\n\nIf you have any books or guides that might
  help give us a key to tree identification, please bring what you can 
 easily carry. There is even a list of smartphone apps if you are that 
 way inclined on our website.\n\nPhotographers are welcome - we always 
 looking to add to our list of identified trees and hope you'll contrib
 ute a few of the pictures you take if you wish.\n\nThe Tree Walk is in
 tended to last around an hour. If it rains we will soldier on so pleas
 e wrap up warm. We proceed at a leisurely pace to focus on what is aro
 und us.\n\nPlease note that you don't have to be a tree warden to join
  in - many people simply turn up every so often to look and learn and
