 nvolved and maps of the route, the excitement of the occasion will be 
 recreated by viewing original tele-recordings on period television rec
 eivers.John Thompson is Chairman of the Alexandra Palace Television Gr
 oup and Chairman of the British Vintage Wireless and Television Museum
  and runs a business specialising in the restoration of vintage electr
 onic equipment.\nTalks take place at 8.00pm at the Union Church Hall (

 donation of £1.50 is requested from non-members. Refreshments are ava
