 aylor (drums) reformed over Summer 2011 for a retrospective celebratin
 g the music of that period from Steps Ahead (Mainieri, Grolnick, Breck
 er), Keith Jarrett and Chick Corea.\n\n \n\nThe band still gets toget
 her on frequent occasions to celebrate great jazz from that period.\n\
 n \n\nTonight’s lineup will be Torus stalwarts Mick Sexton on Doubl
 e Bass and Trevor Taylor on Drums and joined by Tim Whitehead on Saxop
 hone and Jonathan Gee on Piano.\n\n \n\nSpecial guest tonight is\n\nT
 im Whitehead (tenor-sax): \"Those of us who have caught him live have 
 been left blinking in disbelief. It's not just his mastery of the teno
 r saxophone, phenomenal though it is, but the absolute conviction of h
