  His playing is genre and career defining, running the gamut from big 
 band to classical, experimental to electric, his talent knows no bound
 s.\nKAIYO have performed both as a duo (Simon Purcell & Amy Baldwin) a
 nd as a trio. Tonight they are expanding into a quartet with Dave Inge
 mells on drums and featuring saxophonist Mark Lockheart – much admir

 que talents of each player in a collective and interactive format, com

 1980’s, multi-award winning Mark Lockheart has been in the vanguard 
 of British jazz for four decades. Mark co-founder of “Perfect Housep
 lants” toured and recorded with Django Bates, Mike Gibbs, Mark Antho
 ny Turnage, his own 11 piece “Scratch Band” and Seb Rochford’s h
 ighly acclaimed “Polar Bear”. His recent album ‘Smiling’ is al
