 \nTori Freestone is an award‑winning British saxophonist, flautist a
 nd composer, recognised as one of the most distinctive and versatile v
 oices in UK jazz. With a sound that blends lyrical freedom, rhythmic i
 nvention and influences ranging from folk to Latin music, she is highl
 y regarded as both bandleader and collaborator.\nHer long‑running To
 ri Freestone Trio has earned widespread critical acclaim, including mu
 ltiple 4‑star reviews and “Jazz Album of the Month” distinctions
  in the national press. Her duo with pianist Alcyona Mick has toured i
 nternationally and won an Ivor Novello Award for Jazz Ensemble Composi
 tion in 2022.\nFreestone is also a prominent figure across the UK’s 
 leading ensembles, performing with the Julian Siegel Jazz Orchestra, N
 ikki Iles Jazz Orchestra and Alec Dankworth’s Spanish Accents, to na
 me but a few. She has appeared at major festivals across Europe and co
 llaborated with artists including Hermeto Pascoal, Ingrid Jensen and J
 amie Cullum. A nominee for Parliamentary Jazz Instrumentalist of the Y
 ear and shortlisted for the Arts Foundation Jazz Composition Award, To
