DESCRIPTION:Our first knitting drop-in with Amy Wear of Weardowney Kni
 twear was such a success that we’re making it a regular event at The
  Step!\nIt’s a fun evening of knitting, chatting and drinking for ne
 w knitters or dab hands. You can bring along a project you’ve alread
 y started or use it as an excuse to begin something new and Amy will a
 dvise as required. Pop in for as long as you like, meet new local frie
 nds and knit something pretty in time for Christmas! We’ll be hostin
 g the drop-in every other Wednesday.\nAmy has been a fashion model sin
 ce 1996; she was taught to knit by her grandmother and has been knitti
 ng from a young age. She set up the Weardowney label with Gail Downey 
 in 2004.\nFrom 7.30pm, £5 per person including a pot of tea or a half
  of Meantime London Lager to get those fingers flowing.\nFor those of 
 you who aren’t up for a bit of knitting we’re open as usual for dr
 inks, food and we’ll be playing some of Matty’s fine tunes too.\n\
