DESCRIPTION:With Sharon Wallin\nFinishing techniques are such an impor
 tant skill to get your knitting projects done with ease and satisfacti
 on! Once you have the know how everything falls into place.\nIn the se
 ssion with Sharon, you will learn:\n- Different methods for joining se
 ams\n- How to invisibly weave in ends\n- How to pick up stitches and k
 nit around a neckline or armhole\n- Sewing a button onto knitwear and 
 making a worked loop\n- What “blocking” is and why it can transfor
 m your knitted item\nThis is an intermediate knitting class. You shoul
 d already be able to stitch in knit and purl and be able to cast on an
 d off.\nIn order to get the most from this class, it would be helpful 
 if you could bring along three knitted stocking stitch squares approxi
 mately 15cms (6inches) square. Please leave all loose ends (don’t we
 ave them in!)\nUsing 4mm needles and double knitting yarn will work we
 ll, alternatively, anything else of a similar weight that you have in 
 your stash!\nPlease bring your 4mm knitting needles and spare DK yarn 
 with you on the day.\nThe following equipment will be provided but if 
 you would prefer to bring your own, the following items would be helpf
 ul:\nScissors; a large eyed needle, pins with a larger head, a button\
 nCOST: £40 total (includes refreshments & biscuits\nDATE & TIME: Satu
 rday 9th April, 12.30-2.30pm\nDURATION: 2 hours in total (2 hours each
