  learn amigurumi crochet techniques with the fabulous Kay Dudman, croc
 het/ knittting master and local maker!\nAmigurumi is the Japanese art 
 of making stuffed toys, usually crocheted but sometimes knitted.( The 
 toys are usually animals such as teddy bears and birds.) Crochet amigu
 rumi is made using a spiral technique with no obvious seams and a firm
  tension so the stuffing doesn’t show. The technique uses double cro
 chet to create a firm fabric, increasing and decreasing to create the 
 body of the characters.\nSome yarn and hooks will be provided as well 
 as a creative environment with refreshments and biscuits. You can brin
 g a notebook of you wish to take notes other than that just bring your
