 and learn to make a wrap dress with our resident seamstress Pat Steven
 s!\nNo dress is as versatile as the wrap dress. It can be adjusted to 
 fit any body type, looks great in every length, can be adjusted to any
  height, any sleeve and be added to depending on your preference or to
  suit any occasion with the fabrics you choose to make it in.\nWhether
  you wear it on its own or layer it over another garment or under a ca
 rdigan it can be a staple in your wardrobe come winter or summer. So j
 oin Pat Stevens here at Stitch and improve your sewing skills by makin
 g yourself a fabulous and versatile wrap dress.\nThis is an intermedia
 te sewing class on how to accurately cut out and adjust a pattern to m
 ake a wrap dress with confidence. This workshop will introduce you to 
 the more advanced principles of dressmaking. Individual attention is a
 ssured with only 6 places available.\nTHE SKILLS YOU WILL LEARN INCLUD
 E:\n- lay out your fabric and cut it\n- how to use your measurements t
 o adapt the dress to fit you\n- cutting dress and binding pieces accur
 ately\n- how to prepare and finish the hemline of a dress\n- wrap over
  bodice with option of a line skirt and or straight skirt\n- pleating 
 on bodice\n- gathering on skirt\n- inset sleeves (short or 3/4 sleeve 
 options)\n- inseam pockets optional\n- hemming\nDRESS PATTERN:\nWe wil
 l provide the dress pattern. Please send us your measurement 2-weeks 
 before the class to allow us to prepare your individual pattern.\nDRES
 S FABRIC RECOMMENDED:\nlight weight cotton, cotton jersey\nYou can bri
 ng along some fabric of your choice or purchase fabric in advance from
  the selection in our shop. Please allow for extra time before the wor
 kshop if you plan on buying fabric from Stitch. Depending on what leng
 th you would like your dress to be and your size, you might need betwe
 en, full skirt option 3m, straight skirt option 2.5m of fabric.\nSKILL
  LEVEL:\nThis is an intermediate dressmaking workshop. You should alre
 ady know your way around a sewing machine, and be able to thread the m
 achine and load the bobbin and do forward and back straight stitching.
