 ive it a shape.’ Blake Morrison\nOver 6 weeks, we will explore how t
 o shape and structure our writing in a compelling and novelistic way. 
 We will learn ways to hook our readers into our story, keep them turni
 ng the pages, charm and alarm them with our characters and reveal fasc
 inating, relatable truths about our lives.\nWe will investigate what i
 s meant by a strong voice in memoir and understand how stylistic devic
 es like dialogue, scene building, setting description, and suspense cr
 eates a vivid world the reader can disappear inside. As well as readin
 g extracts from published memoirists, nominated students will have the
  chance to workshop extracts of their writing each week. All levels w
