 🪩 Join us for a fabulously fun night at Karamel, where we'll take o
 ver the entire venue: socialise in the restaurant area over food and d
 rinks, or showcase your talents on stage! (There will always be a seat
 ing area dedicated to quieter conversations.)\n🍔 THE FOOD Karamel's
  fully vegan menu varies every time! The selection for the night will 
 be announced on a blackboard. It usually includes a few daily specials
  as well as staples like burgers, pizzas, and a variety of delicious s
 ides and desserts.\n🍹 THE DRINKS Beer on tap, wine by the glass, an
 d a selection of cocktails and mocktails: Karamel's fully vegan bar ha
 s something for every taste.\n👩‍🎤 THE MUSIC The first part of 
 the evening will feature an open mic night where anyone is welcome to 
 showcase their talents (musical or otherwise), opened by Mixer regular
  Alfie Paca 🦙\nStarting around 9 PM, KaraoChris will host karaoke f
 or the rest of the night: sign up to jump on stage and sing your heart
  out! Karamel have kindly offered a meal for two as a prize for the be
 st singer.\n🤗 ATTENDING Entry to the event is totally free, but ple
 ase do support the venue by buying some of their delicious food and dr
 inks (both 100% vegan!).\nAll are welcome, and we strive to make the e
 vent a safe and inclusive space for everyone - no discriminatory or ab
 usive behaviour of any kind will be tolerated.\n🌱 THE VENUE Karamel
  is a very short walk from Wood Green Tube station (Piccadilly Line). 
 The entrance to the venue is step-free and there is a wheelchair-acces
 sible toilet. Karamel is dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your furr
 y friends if they'll enjoy it.\nOriginally founded and run by vegan ac
 tivists, today it’s operated by Collage Arts (a charity supporting t
 he local community) and managed by the lovely Kath who, together with 
 her charming husband Roger, also prepares the delicious homemade food 
 served there… in very generous portions 😉 and at fairly affordabl
 e prices!\nFor well over a decade now, Karamel has been at the heart o
 f London’s vegan community, helping it reach its current size - for 
 example:\ngiving a new home to London Vegan Drinks (Europe’s largest
  vegan social gathering at the time!) when it outgrew its preceding ve
 nues providing a welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ vegans (inclusivity 
 and safeguarding having always been a central tenet of theirs) with Fa
 t Gay Vegan's Queer Vegan Disco throwing official or de facto afterpar
 ties for many Animal Rights marches and protests Nowadays, they host o
 ur sister event, the regular board game event Geekstraveganza (as they
 ’ve done since its inception in 2016), and a lot of other wonderful 
 events for the local area and the wider London vegan community.\n\nFor
