  from the earliest days when the Lumière brothers arranged for their
  films to be shown on the City of Westminster refurbished Regent Stree
 t Cinema site (previously Regent Street Polytechnic)  in 1896, thro
 ugh to the arrival of the first cinema multiplex at Milton Keynes in N
 ovember 1985\nRichard Gray will be including some of our local cinema
