DESCRIPTION:Two MPs are set to host talks with a rail company after a 
 spate of delays and issues.\nIn September, Govia took over First Capi
 tal Connect services on the overground line from Hertford North, whi
 ch stops at several stations in the borough of Enfield including Enfie
 ld Chase, Winchmore Hill and Palmers Green.\nBut commuters are still 
 disappointed as investment was promised in the line, yet delays and ca
 ncellations continue to plague services.\nEnfield North MP Nick de Boi
 s and Enfield Southgate MP will host the meeting between the train pro
 vider and commuters at St Mary Magdalene Church hall, in Windmill Hill
  on Friday, January 23, at 7.30pm.\nMr de Bois said: “Since Govia to
 ok over from FCC in September improvement to some services have not be
 en evident because of staff shortages causing delays and cancellations
  – I have organised this meeting so that commuters have the opportun
 ity to have their say directly to Govia and to listen to what Govia ar
 e going to do about it. It’s also a chance to find out about the pro
 mised investment in new trains and improved timetabling.”\nHaringey

 l Hill with The Ridgeway and has public transport links by means of Bu
