 d composer who is known as one of the UK's foremost exponents of the b
 aritone saxophone. He has worked extensively in the fields of jazz, co
 mmercial and classical music and has appeared with many ensembles whic
 h include the big bands of John Dankworth, Stan Sulzmann and Mike Garr
 ick, Alan Barnes +11, The Humphrey Lyttelton Band, Ginger Baker’s Ai
 r Force, Laura Jurd’s Human Spirit, The London Philharmonic Orchestr
 a and English National Opera.\nAs a composer Mick has written for many
  ensembles and his music has been played around the world and broadcas
 t on BBC Radio 3. He has recorded three albums under his own name and 
 runs his own record label, Hainault Records. Mick teaches at the Guild
 hall School of Music & Drama,Trinity Laban Conservatoire and Goldsmith
 s College.\nThe quartet comprises top musicians from all facets of the
  UK jazz scene.They play a mixture of original pieces and more familia
 r jazz material. In October 2020 they released their latest album, 'Li
 ve at The Vortex', which has been featured on Jazz FM and has received
