DESCRIPTION:For the first time, Christ Church Southgate and the Minche
 nden Oak Garden form part of Open House London.\n \nExplore our fine 
 Grade II* listed church, designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott in the e
 arly English architectural style. Absorb the detail in our collection 
 of beautiful Pre-Raphaelite stained glass windows spanning 50 years of
  output from the studio of William Morris & Company, including designs
  by Burne Jones, Philip Webb and Rossetti, including a unique “self 
 portrait” of William Morris himself.\n \nAfter touring the church, 
 please visit The Minchenden Oak Garden, next to the church, which cont
 ains one of the country’s oldest tress – an ancient pollarded oak 
 more than 800 years old.\n \nThe weekend will conclude with a special
  service of Choral Evensong at 6.30pm on Sunday. The Choir of Christ C
 hurch Southgate will be joined by the choir of Waltham Abbey Church. �
