DESCRIPTION:Four hundred years ago in September 1613, the New River, b
 uilt to bring fresh water in to the capital was completed.\nStarting i
 n Ware, in Hertfordshire, it travels 28 miles to the New River head in
  Islington.\nTo celebrate this magnificent feat of engineering, Bowes 
 Park’s very own Click Camera Club are exhibiting a collection of ph
 otographs inspired by the New River as it is today.\nThese photographs
  show some of the life, communities, landscapes and architecture of th
 is historic river, four hundred years after it was completed.\nThe exh
