DESCRIPTION:Pick up tips from members of the Southgate Photographic So
 ciety as they visit Christ Church for a special Open Afternoon dedicat
 ed to local budding photographers. Enjoy our fantastic building, desig
 ned by the architect responsible for St Pancras Station, Sir George Gi
 lbert Scott. Capture the changing light through our beautiful Morris &
  Company windows and our Salviati mosaic.  Christ Church Southgate wi
 ll be open all day serving tea and cakes and selling books, home-made 
 jams and crafts, in aid of the All People All Places Enfield Winter Sh
 elter.  The Open Afternoon will be followed by Evening Prayer at 6.30
 pm.\n \nIn 2015 we celebrate our 400th Anniversary - the Weld Chapel,
  the precursor to our current building, was consecrated in May 1615. C
