DESCRIPTION:Muswell Hill Scarecrow Festival takes place on Avenue Mews
  between October 30th and November 1st 2014\n\nThe Mews (also known as
  the 'creative hub of Muswell Hill' with its art spaces and vintage sh
 ops) will be atmospherically decked with scarecrows made by local arti
 sts, residents, schools and community groups.\n\nThe festival is inspi
 red by rural folk art festivals where villagers make scarecrows and ex
 hibit them in front gardens and communal spaces. We hope to evoke the 
 the spirit of old rural Britain with it's curious festivals and quirky
  folk rituals dating back to days of old. All just in time for the Hal
 loween and Guy Fawkes night celebrations. Perfect for those in area fo
