 ou how to make alterations to your clothes. In this workshop you will 
 learn shortening- from any garments that are too long- so trouser alte
 rations, shortening hems of dresses, skirts etc.\n\nBring something al
 ong to alter- You can bring a pair of your own trousers, skirt or dres
 s. If you don’t have something that is also fine, we will have a ga
 rment section you can work on.\nWe will also touch upon false hems- le
 tting garments down to make smaller clothes fit (if clothes are approp
 riate) and simple shaping such as darts in tops.\nAll equipment and so
 me materials is provided. We have Janome sewing machines on site. But 
 please do bring a notebook in case you wish to jot down ideas.\nCLASS
