DESCRIPTION:After quite some time away, this week sees the return of t
 he Low Down Dogs who pick up the Blues Baton to provide you with an ec
 lectic evening of acoustic and electric Blues.  A discerning band of m
 usicians, the Low Down Dogs feature the sublime vocals, slide guitar a
 nd harmonica work of Mad Dog Dave Barnes along with John Crowther's vo
 cals, and top drawer guitar and mandolin skills.  The rhythm section s
 ees Dave Thomas on bass, guitar and vocals and, we are delighted to an
 nounce, Pete Abernethy is restored to the rudest of rude health and in
  his rightful place on the drum throne from where, unsurprisingly, he 
 drums and  provides backing vocals.  With support at half-time you ca
