SUMMARY:STC (Nortel) Quarter Century Club Meeting 2016
DESCRIPTION:We have now decided to have a meeting in a smaller venue, 
 the Winchmore Hill Sports and Cricket Club*. It will be on Friday Sept
 ember 30th starting from 7.30pm.\nThe cost will remain at £15 per he
 ad. This includes a supper menu of either Sausage and Chips or Curry a
 nd Rice. (A vegetarian option will also be available). You can choose 
 on the night. There will be a cash bar available.\n \nIf you wish to 
 attend the Quarter Century Meeting for 2016 would you please send a ch
 eque, made payable to “TXE ENGINEERING SOCIETY” to Sandie Goddard,
  our Treasurer, at 12 Shirley Road, Enfield EN2 6SB no later than 15
 thSeptember 2016, as we will need to finalise arrangements.\n \nIn or
 der to keep costs down, tickets or reminders will not be issued for 
 this event. Regrettably payment cannot be refunded in the event that y
 ou cannot attend on the night. \nOriginally restricted to employees w
 ith 25 year service, as the event no longer receives any subsidy the e
 vent is open to any previous employee on what has become the North Lon
 don Business Park site. Note that a warm welcome is extended to anyone
  who used to work at the sites Cockfosters, Harlow and Potters Bar\nTh
 e club address is Firs Lane, Winchmore Hill, N21 3ER. The entrance is 
 on Firs Lane near the junction with Ford’s Grove. Beware, there is a
  ridiculously narrow width restriction at the entrance to the car park
 ! From the car park walk towards the large club house building in betw
 een the two cricket pitches. The 125 bus route terminates at the far e
 nd of Ford’s Grove from the club, a few minutes’ walk away.\n\nFor
