  repair worn garments but can also be used to create purely decorative
  hand stitched designs.\nAre your favourite garments becoming unwearab

 her than buy new ones?\nWe are all learning more about the resources r
 equired to make our clothes and the problems of ‘fast fashion’. Wi
 th our very own Tricia Sharpe you will be guided in this artistic visi
 ble way of mending and breathing new life into garments that would oth
 erwise be left unworn or thrown out. Give your garments a longer life 
 and learn how to repair them using the Japanese art of visible mending
 : Sashiko. You will then be able to use your new skills whenever requi
 red!\nThis is a class for all levels and so beginners and experienced 
 stitchers welcome.\nLearn about the background to Sashiko, examples of
  functional and decorative use of techniques, sample demonstration and
