 y short train journey to Winchmore Hill (only 4 mins from Bowes Park),
  we will wander around Winchmore Hill Green, the old centre of Winchmo
 re Hill which retains some of its village character and many interesti
 ng buildings.\nFrom the centre Winchmore Hill Green we will walk throu
 gh the remains of Winchmore Hill Woods into Grovelands Park, the lands
 caped gardens of the former Southgate Grove, the Nash designed mansion
  now named Grovelands House.  After leaving Grovelands Park, we will c
 ut through the Meadway estate to Southgate Green for some well-earned 
 rest and refreshment in Ye Olde Cherry Tree pub.  Further details her
