Great Pictures Richard,
I hope this street can continue in its rejuvenation, really need the council to experiment with making it a creative quarter with greatly reduced business rates for first few years of operation or staggered depending on shop turnover. Don't hold your breath on something like that happening though!

Anyone got any pictures of the pub before it was converted into housing on the corner of Queens Road and Goring Road. Looks like it would have been a lovely old boozer!

Strangely Roland it never opened as a pub.Due to the temperance covenants covering the area when it was laid-out it wasn't allowed to be a pub.A compromise was reached when it was allowed to be an off-license.It closed down to be converted in to becoming flats in the sometime in late 80s/ early 90s.Shame, because as you say it does look like it would have been a lovely old boozer !
