I'm guessing that this shop is in Bounds Green Road, a few doors along from the Tube. I'm also wondering whether it was once called Doreen's, a shop selling wool, haberdashery, stockings etc.  This would be in the 1960/70s and before.  My mother (Joyce, not Doreen) owned a shop in that area from 1965 and I recall that included in the stock that she inherited from the previous proprietor was a supply of coronation buttons!  I met my husband in 1969 in the shop next door - The Tea for Two, a bakery and restaurant where my sister and I had a Saturday job.  Along with his Scottish flatmates, he used to come in and confuse us with requests for the likes of bridies and pan loaves!

Can anyone tell me if I've identified the right place, please?
