The Friends of Alexandra Park have published a new book, 'A History of Alexandra Park', written by Laura Mazur, with many photos and maps from the archives, as well as chapters on the wildlife in the park and the park's future.

The book is a guide to the park and its colourful history stretching back to 1863. It takes the reader through the different and varied areas of the landscape as well as offering a brief and broad look at its history  - including what have been some very dramatic moments. The illustrations and photos offer a delightful glimpse of times past and present.
