Brian Moore is 76 and has lived on Myddleton Road since he was three years old - he attended Bounds Green School. Brian’s father owned the menswear shop at 99 Myddleton Road, which is still there although unopened.
Brian’s father ran the Myddleton Road Traders Association and helped to run street parties for special occasions, during which the road was often completely closed off to traffic. These events brought the community together and were a good way of meeting your neighbours.
Brian closed his father’s shop in the late 1990s, but he still lives in the rooms above the building.
