Lynette Heaven is 77 and originally from the Caribbean. She brought her children up on Whittington Road and has lived there for 46 years. She now has nine grandchildren.

Lynette says that she shopped nowhere else for her groceries than on Myddleton Road, as everything you could possibly need was there.
