What about something similar for Bounds Green & Bowes Park?

Albert Pinching has already produced such a book and it is available from Hornsey Historical Society at The Old Schoolhouse and was on sale at Palace Gates Residents Association Fair last Sunday.

As shown on HHS website:-

Bounds Green: A History and Walk by Albert Pinching (2014)
This long-awaited book is about a less well-known, but nevertheless interesting, corner of Haringey, initially a rural hamlet which became a cosmopolitan residential district of Wood Green. It was once farmland, but later the home of wealthy 19th-century residents. It was also the location of brickworks, glassworks, a university, an industrial estate and an Olympic-size swimming pool. This 60-page well-illustrated book will provide the details.
ISBN 978-0-905794-50-1 £8.99 plus £1.40 p&p (for 2 or 3 copies p&p is £1.80)

As this is a comprehensive history and guided walk i can't imagine another will be written any time soon.

It would be nice if a local shop (or the bpca) could sell these.

I believe The Big Green Bookshop stocks this and other HHS publications. I have no idea what bpca is. Please check out http://hornseyhistorical.org.uk/w/index.php/publications or contact the Sales Manager (also the author) sales@hornseyhistorical.org.uk for further info on stockists or buying by post

The Bowes Park Walking Group (all welcome!) have six tried and tested walks, both local and slightly further afield, on their page of the Bowes Park Community Association website
