Hi I live close to this nursery and have worries about the calibrate of the staff working with the children. I've tried to talk to the manager previously but she isn't interested in taking on any passerby comments. I've witnessed some gross behaviour on the road next to the nursery (fights over parking I believe) but what prompted me to write was listening to a staff member holler at a child yesterday for nearly 4 mins. It was a disgraceful dressing down, which included "Who on earth do you think you are?" and shrieking. I'm afraid I don't know what the incident was but it upset me that I couldn't hear the child at all. Either she was unfazed by the telling off or used to it. Either way I wondered what other people's experiences of living on Whittingtin Road are (if they stay at home) and maybe even some advice on if I should try again with the manager?

I would speak to Ofsted who will investigate if the manager isn't listening. It doesn't matter if you're a passer by or not in my opinion, if you have a concern about a child in his/her care, the manager should be listening.
