A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
This Mental Health Awareness Week, 8-14 May 2017, Create Your Future are launching a 12 week Textiles and Jewellery workshop at Chocolate Factory 3 for ethnic minority women who are not currently in work, education or training.
Create Your Future is a new employability and enterprise project for ethnic minority women
We're offering these 12 week creative workshops in partnership with 306 Collective, a fantastic group of skilled arts and craft practitioners, who co-run the exciting community enterprise. The aim of the studio is to empower disadvantaged local individuals by offering a creative space for those who are recovering from mental illness. Here they can rediscover forgotten skills, develop new ones and boost their confidence within a working environment.
Workshops will take place every Wednesday for 12 weeks, starting with morning sessions only.
Sign up or refer a friend by dropping us an email at learning@collage-arts.org.
