It's really great to hear about the exciting programme of creative workshps and activities kicking off at Everyone's Climbing Tree.

Earlier this year Everyone’s Climbing Tree was established as a not-for-profit arts organisation and their base at 141 Station Road, a former Indian restaurant, has been transformed into a fully functioning workshop and art space.

After an opening party in September 2011 things are beginning to start up including a new life drawing group starting on Nov 1st and new weekly childrens' art workshops.

There are plans for an ambitious programme of workshops in art, photography and music (and more) with a clear focus on encouraging and developing the creativity already present in the community.

As their website says "It will be open to the whole community, people of all ages, interests and ability. Our emphasis lies on opportunity and access to all, encouraging creativity and forming a community; inspiring enrichment and empowerment."

The Everyone’s Climbing Tree project is the creation of the Sabbagh family. Many people will know Annie’s House, a long standing local childrens nursery run by Annie. The first AP and Beyond Art Trail earlier this year was curated by Sonya Sabbagh and Alexander Sabbagh who runs weekly drumming workshops  was one of the performers at the Bowes Park Festival back in the summer.

You can find out about all the exciting projects and workshops at the Everyone's Climbing Tree website.

We wish them every sucess.

A really great and inspiring project and family! There are so many creative people in Bowes Park, Bounds Green and Ally Pally and this is testament to it. We hope it goes from strength to strength.
