A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
A spate of some very unpleasant and unsettling graffiti has appeared around the area in the last week or so.
I have found it particularly nasty to come across this on bus-stops and even pavements when accompanying children to school.
It's very easy to report any incidence of graffiti or Flytipping, rubbish-dupming etc to the local authority. Both London Borough of Enfield and London Borough of Haringey have simple to complete online forms to report a local problem.
If you are not sure which local authority area a problem is located you can find it on a map, or with a post code and report it through the independent Fix My Street website

Hi Richard
I think I know to what you are referring. We have investigated an incident of this graffiti at Bounds Green tube station. Members of harringay online have mentioned it on there too. I believe the Met will be investigating any incidents off railway property, so would encourage anyone seeing this to report it to them.
Hi Tom ... yes thats the stuff ... although I was trying to be a bit subtle by not spelling out the specific detail of the content! :)

Is this the "Death to all Rapists" painted on numerous pavements - most odd. I think one of them mentions a name.
Down by Bowes Road we are getting new messages - the sign of the cross mainly and also 'Jesus'.
Yes I will. We did have the death to rapists message a few weeks ago and I reported that to the council. That's gone now. I also saw the same message in Wood Green High Road a few weeks back so whoever is doing it is getting around a bit
You took the words right off my fingertips, Mary-Louise!
Please report any type of graffiti to Police and/or your local council - these offences need to be investigated and the more evidence the better.
