Off street parking
Despite the obvious problems with drainage, and the fact that another car parking space disappears , aesthetically , in my view, they look awful . What has happened to the heritage of the area ?
I had a discussion the other day with the Highways Dept of Enfield , asking If one could appeal against the decision , no, I was told, they were most unhelpful

The only obvious reason the council still grants off street parking is the revenue it generates, how sad

My pet peeve is when residents on roads put wheelie bins out, or traffic cones, to stake their claim on the bit of road outside their house / flat when they don't even have a dropped kerb.

If they have a skip or removal lorry coming , I can see their point.
But not just to save their precious parking space
