I'm hoping someone can recommend a company who designs and installs external stairs.  

The access to my first floor flat is via a set of wooden stairs which are gradually becoming unstable  (I have the top 2 floors of an Edwardian house in Bounds Green).   I also doubt whether or not they'd meet building regulations these days and would prove a problem if I were to sell....

I've started getting quotations (most of which make me gulp) but they're mainly from organisations outside London.  Not a problem in itself, but I wondered if anyone could recommend a local person who could give me some design ideas as well as install the new stairs?

Any ideas much appreciated.
