Hello, my little dog had trouble with his back legs and so I bought this carrier to help him when we went on walks.  It can either be wheeled or carried on your back rucksack style and would suit a small to medium dog or any size of cat or other small pet.  Sadly my little dog died I do not need this anymore.  Rather than just take it to the dump I thought I would ask if there is anyone who could make use of this.  It is almost brand new and very light.  Hopefully it will find a good home and help another pet.  I can take a picture if anyone would like to see one before they take it.

Hi Dalene,

I have just seen this post and am hoping you still have the carrier! We have just got a kitten and have been wondering how to transport her to the vet for her microchip in a couple of weeks...this carrier sounds perfect!
Sorry to hear about your little dog...I have a Westie and couldn't be without him! Hopefully, you will feel able to give a loving home to another dog one day :-)

Best wishes
Debbie.

Hi Debbie it would be a bit big for a kitten but you are welcome to have it no problem at all.  We too have just got a new kitten, our old cat died a couple of months ago, hope yours is better behaved than ours!!  We are on Truro Road if you want to collect it.

Hi Dalene, thats brilliant, thank you!

I can come and collect it at any time convenient for you, from tomorrow, and I'm sure Bella will grow into it! She is at that exhausing stage and the poor dog is wondering what's hit him!
I have sent you a Connection invitation on here so that we can exchange details. :-)

Ok I am home tomorrow and during the evening.  Know what you mean :)

Debbie if you find it doesn't suit your needs then the blue cross dog and cat hospital would be very grateful for it. The Victoria hospital treats very injured animals with owners that have low incomes. There is no equipment budget. If your cat doesn't like the soft wheely case then I have a proper metal cat carrier with a handle should you wish to have that. The carrier on wheels would help the nurses walk paralysed dogs to the park. No pressure, you choose what's best for you, but I have a cat carrier here should you wants to swap. I'm on nightingale road.

Thank you for this Nicola, a cat carrier would probably be more suitable as the stroller is a bit large for a cat - but Debbie can choose:)

No pressure at all. Just giving options. Will get out the carrier just in case. N

Hi Nicola,
Thanks for the reply...I came on here to ask Dalene if it would be ok to collect the stroller on Thursday afternoon, but after reading your post, it does seem that a proper cat carrier would be more suitable, so thanks for the offer!
I am happy to collect from Dalene and bring the stroller to you when come for the cage, if that is agreeable to everyone?

Thanks :-)

Thanks Debbie that would be fine, I will be in Thursday afternoon after around 3pm until about 6pm so anytime during then will be fine.  If anything happens in the meantime or these times are not convenient for you I can leave it in the porch for you, which will be sheltered and safe.  All is well that ends well and hopefully the stroller will benefit the animals in the shelter!!  Result all round, Dalene:)

Debbie and Dalene hello.
If you are both happy then I am happy!
Between 4.30pm on Thursday until 7pm works very well for me!
If you change your mind Debbie just let me know. No pressure at all. I think though that the cat would be safer in a more solid carrier?

See you Thursday unless I hear otherwise. Best wishes to you both.

I think we are all happy:)
