This is delightful!
Wood Green Bowls club was founded in 1906 in Woodside Park - adjacent to what was then Wood Green Town Hall. The club ran for a century ... but has subsequently closed.
In an earlier article we published some photographs of the current site and reproduced a short history of Wood Green Bowls Club - written to mark the centenary.
