Big thanks to everyone who came to Palmers Green Festival 2014 in Broomfield Park. There were around 130 stalls, lots of sunshine and lots of happy crowds of people. The music was doubled this year with bands on the old bowling green as well as the bandstand and people flocked to both. The new Community Friendship Zone with pilates and tai chi sessions was popular with older people and their carers, with younger children enjoying the funfair, bungeefly and 9 metre climbing wall. The Broomfield Community Orchard and the Palmers Greenery Community Cafe joined in, as did the Conservatory, including a plant sale.
The festival is free to enter and powered entirely by volunteers with the aim of uniting our community. People seem to like it a lot, so if you want to be among the first to know about Festival 2015, sign up here for the festival mailing list; http://www.palmersgreenfestival.org.uk/palmersgreenfestival.org.uk/...
