Forthcoming Traffic Disruption Aldermans Hill: Buses on Diversion from 22nd October

Residents using bus routes to supermarket Messrs Wm Morrison have been suffering access issues as a result of works by Thames Water. [Bus Stop o/s Wm Morrisons supermarket finally Re-opened 17th October!]

Please be aware that London Bough of Enfield have given notice of their intention to resurface the Green Lanes A105/Aldermans Hill A1004 junction from 20:00until 06:00 the following morning on the nights of 22nd October, 23rd October and 24th October.

From 20:00 on 22nd October for three nights, this will result in buses on route 121 and on route W6 being diverted. The diversion routes to be taken have been announced are being advertised as being Green Lanes and Bowes Road.

The expected revised timetable for route w6 appears below:

Bus Route w6 will be diverted between Forestdale (Selborne Road) and Lodge Drive via Bowes Road and Green Lanes, the route w6 bus stops for Broomfield Park (both directions) and Palmers Green Station/Wm Morrison Supermarket will NOT be served

Bus Route 121 will be diverted from Green Lanes (Tottenhall Road) (both directions) via Bowes Road non stop to Forestdale/Selborne Road. The route 121 bus stops North Circular Road, Broomfield Lane, Palmers Green Station, Broomfield Park, Aldermans Hill (Forestdale) will NOT be served

WARNING If you believe the Advance Warning signs posted in Chase Side N14 opposite MacDonalds in Southgate, the Road Surfacing of Aldermans Hill will occur as NIGHTWORK 22:00 thro' 05:00 from 22nd October to 30th October

Travelling home via Southgate LUL each night from 22nd October after 20:00

There is currently no warning notice for passengers on the bus shelter

for those boarding at STOP C. Check with the driver
