Burglary on Palmerston Rd
I just wanted to let my fellow community members know that my neighbor got broken into last week. It was a forced entry thru the front door (seen from the street) in the early evening.
Thankfully nobody was injured and not much was stolen but it served as a reminder to us to be vigilant in these dark evenings.
The police have attended and are advising people to get a sensor light out the front if they don't already have one and to report anything suspicious.
Let's all keep an eye out for each other!

Many thanks for this Fiona. Good reminder for everybody. I had a new sensor light fitted last year by an electrician, but it never worked even after 3 attempts to fix it!! If a reasonably priced, "can do" electrician is out there, please contact me so we can arrange for it ideally to be repaired or another new one fitted!
