Another excellent Myddleton Road Market this weekend! Well done to Lucy, Kari, all the stallholders, volunteers and customers for making it another success. Thanks also to the local volunteers who helped clean up the Gym, Community Garden and New River path in advance to ensure our area was looking at its best.

Alongside the packed Market, Myddleton Road’s shops were also on show. Paul and Daniel at the new music shop Renaissance held their grand opening with stunning piano accompaniment.

Simon and Julie at Freestak / Like The Wind magazine used the opportunity to sign up members to their new early morning running club.

Local MP Catherine West called into Myddleton Road on her way to Labour Party Conference in Brighton and met market organiser Lucy Whitehead  and Melanie Masson She said:

“It’s wonderful to be at Myddleton Road Market and see all the stalls selling food, jewellery, crafts and clothes. It’s also great to see new shops opening in the area, Renaissance Music and Like the Wind Magazine are new local businesses who are working closely with the local community.”

The next Myddleton Road market - a Christmas special – will once again take over the full length of the road and will take place in December watch this space for more details.
